We often insist that Full Spectrum Dominance is a miniature-agnostic game. Over time, this has become progressively less true, with armies and cards designed at the same moment for a specific feel… however, even I have in my collection a whole army of models that are coming from various sources, rather than my own.
The majority of the models here are from Ground Zero Games, with the tall mechs which were from White Dragon Miniatures, and are now distributed by Kore, together with my hand-sculpted range of 15mm terrain of which I’m very proud to this day.
I think this is a great example of the sweet spot of abstraction that FSD achieves: on one side, each troop behaves in a very specific way, which rewards strategic thinking, but on the other the small-scale allows a certain flexibility in terms of representing the Units without any clash with the immersion.
